I’m a Melbourne-based garden designer that believes outdoor spaces should be more than decorative; they should be alive, dynamic, and deeply connected to place.
My work aims to activate gardens into ecosystems, blending biodiversity with bold design. I'm passionate about creating landscapes that thrive naturally in our climate. Every garden I design is a conversation between people and the land, inviting wildlife back into our neighbourhoods while giving humans a space to connect, and grow.

The process

Consultation
Our journey begins with a personal consultation where I get to know you, your vision, budget and your needs. This will be a site visit to assess current conditions and evaluate factors like sunlight, soil and space.

Concept design
Based on information you've provided me, I will create a visual presentation to help bring your vision to life.

Design finalisation
With your feedback, I will refine the design and finalize all the details. I will also help you choose the right materials that align with your style, budget, and the garden’s needs.

- An itemised list of plants and materials ready to order
4.
Support and site oversight
Now that we have the plans - it's time to build. I will support you through this phase by working closely with contractors and ensuring your garden is built exactly as envisioned. I conduct regular site visits to monitor progress, answer questions, and resolve any on-site challenges. Our goal is to protect the integrity of the design while making the build process as smooth and stress-free as possible for you.

Big ideas for every garden size.
Small
< 15sqm
Even the smallest spaces can be transformed into vibrant, inviting areas. I aim to maximise greenery for any area without crowding the space - from pot arrangements, vertical gardens, and balconies. By focusing on structure, layering, and smart plant choices, it is possible to transform compact areas into lush, livable retreats.
Medium
15 - 150sqm
In mid-sized spaces, such as courtyards, I aim to blending privacy and functionality. Designing with a careful balance of hard and soft landscaping to create comfortable areas for entertaining, relaxing, or simply enjoying a bit of green. I pay close attention to flow, light, and layout to make the most of every square metre.
Large
150sqm>
Large backyards offer the freedom to explore more ambitious design ideas. I like to divide these spaces into distinct zones, whether it's for growing, playing or dining, they should feel intentional and harmonious. From layered planting to garden structures, I ensure every element contributes to a connected, beautiful design.

Echinops
Echinops ritro.
Commonly known as globe thistle, this bold and sculptural perennial adds instant character to any garden. With its distinctive vibrant blue, globe-shaped flowers and spiny foliage, it brings a strong architectural presence to borders, prairie-style gardens, or gravel gardens. Flowering from mid to late summer, it thrives in full sun and well-drained soil, making it ideal for low-maintenance or drought-tolerant schemes. Echinops is also a magnet for pollinators, particularly bees and butterflies, adding ecological value as well as visual interest. Its strong form and unique texture make it perfect for creating contrast alongside softer grasses or flowering perennials.
